"The Future of Latino Luxury"
Alan Daniel is a luxury streetwear fashion brand rooted in the pride and identity of Mexican-American culture. The name itself represents dual heritage — "Alan" as an American name and "Daniel" as a Spanish name — symbolizing the experience of living between two worlds.
The brand speaks to individuals who feel displaced across cultures, offering a sense of belonging through design. It draws inspiration from the rich history of Mesoamerica while reimagining those elements through a modern, elevated lens.
Alan Daniel ultimately serves as a bridge between the United States and Latin America, blending tradition with contemporary fashion. Each piece reflects a fusion of heritage and innovation, creating wearable art that honors both identities.
The only Baylor company to receive the $10K Product Launch Program Grant from the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC).
Empower. Connect. Impact.
Take Action Volunteer was born in the uncertainty of COVID-19 out of a simple but radical idea: students shouldn't have to search for ways to serve their communities. In a moment when traditional systems paused, a new model emerged — one that met students where they were and empowered them to act. TAV was built not as a temporary response, but as a lasting solution.
From its inception, TAV has grown into a youth-led movement operating across Central Texas, focused on removing barriers between students and meaningful opportunities. Rather than simply listing volunteer roles, TAV actively connects students to real pathways for impact through service, partnerships, and job opportunities. It is designed to turn intention into action.
Take Action Volunteer is redefining what student leadership looks like by placing students at the center of change. It shifts the mindset from participation to ownership, empowering young people to lead, build, and serve. Through this model, TAV is cultivating a generation that doesn't wait — they act.
Awarded the Fulbright-García Robles Binational Internship Grant for 2026–2027. Will be placed at a company in Mexico City while completing coursework at ITAM — one of Latin America's premier institutions.
Born in Monterrey, Alan left Mexico at age five and has not returned since. The Fulbright represents a return not as a tourist, but as a professional, scholar, and bridge-builder.
